Snack/Show and Share Program

 

Each child is assigned to bring snack for his/her class on a rotational basis. Your child’s snack day is also their “show and share” day. We encourage students to bring something special that they would like to share and tell everyone about, whether it is a special stuffed animal, toy, picture, collection, book or whatever. Snack suggestions can be found in the Parent Handbook. Parents are invited to attend this special time with their child's class

 

 

Parent Involvement

 

There are no parent duty days or cleaning bees at Westend Community Playschool. However, we do welcome parent involvement.

 

• WECP is run by a volunteer Parent Advisory Board. Fill out the volunteer section of your registration form to get involved. Email or call to join us for a meeting.

• Parents are invited to concerts, teas, parties and parent/teacher interviews throughout the year.

 

Ask your child’s teacher about sharing your special interest/skill with the class.

 

 

Parent Handbook

The Parent Handbook provides additional details about the programs and policies of Westend Community Playschool.  It should be read by the parents of all students registered at the school.
